1640... world record?

So I was diagnosed with diabetes at Yale New Haven Hospital on September 5,2004, I'll never forget this date since it was the day of my sister's baptism. After spending 2 sick days at home, my parents took me to the hospital after I threw up shortly after my sister's baptism. Turns out my blood sugar was 1640. The nurse looked at me and said that I needed to be treated right away.
The doctors said the usual thing I have heard other people say, "With a glucose this high, it was a miracle you hadn't gone into a coma."
I'm curious to know if this was the highest glucose ever recorded? If not who had the highest and was it an intentional high glucose? I'm just wondering if anyone else came close to knock knock knockin' on heaven's door.
