Above 500 Blood Sugar Level

I am a female and I am now 55 years old. I have had type 2 diabetes for many years now. When I first discovered that I had diabetes I only had to take blood sugar medication when I took steriods for my Asthma. I was told someday that would change and after 45 it did.
I am just responding on the above post because I have actually had blood sugars that went well over that 500 reading and I still talked and moved around fine. I knew the blood sugar was high because it made me feel bad. I walked and it would go down some.
It is possible and it does happen and you do still live.
