Diabetic Pear Crunch Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Pears (Chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup Oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons Margarine (Low Sodium)

Directions

Step 1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Step 2. First, combine the peaches, sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and vanilla.
Step 3. Next, in a different bowl, combine the oatmeal, flour, and remaining cinnamon. Fold in the margarine. You want this mix to be crumbly.

Step 4. Spread the peach mix evenly along the bottom of an oven safe baking dish. Spread the second bowl of ingredients evenly on top of the peaches.
Step 5. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. You want the top to be golden brown.
