Going back to shots...

Since late '09, the infusion sites have peeled off repeatedly. I was told some months ago, this Aug. 2010 as of this writing, to save the 'defective ones', call the customer service line and have the "saved ones" replaced via UPS 3 day. Customer needs to return bad ones with postage paid canister. Have had glue kits sent out which are 'band-aids'.
ALSO: Why would CGS transmitter need to be water proof if sensor, part holding both into body isn't?
I have spent $70 per 100 Box on Tagaderm for 'Just in case' areas and now must use with Medical adhesive also??? EVERY TIME! My insurance doesn't cover either. When the adhesives Minimed has sent, band aid shipments, run out, I will request prescriptions for NPH and syringes.
Bottom line: Why should the patient pay for Band-aids to do what Minimed no longer does,
ie: provide reliable infusion sets?
Oh, why isn't the alarm to have test after Bolus connected to incoming test, WITH COMPATIABLE MACHINE? Test 2 minutes early, still alarm.........
