Got that Blood Glucose beat! Ice Cream and Pickles!

When I was first told by a doctor that I was Diabetic..My BGR (Blood Gulcose Reading) was 853! The doctor looked at me and said...."First off it is very rare for someone of your age(27) to get type one diabetes, secondly....usually people with blood sugar as high as yours are either dead or in a comma!I don`t know how you are even walking around right now."
I smiled and replied......."I did`t even know I was sick!" I was just thirsty and craving ice cream and pickles....My roommate thought I was pregnant, which is strange since I am a guy! lol True story though.....Over 10 years later, I have also had my bgl down to 17......Was sweaty and shakey, but ate some food and was fine! (I am sure one night it was even lower) I awoke in a panic and could barely get to the fridge.....I ate 6 reeses peanut butter cups and a ham sandwich, than checked my bgl and it was only up to 62...........Scary right? LOL
Perhaps I am superhuman! lol
