give me a break, it is so complicated
by: Anonymous

dear ha,ha funny:
I have had readings for the last two years in the 400's and 500's. Today, the reading are more steady in the 500's. and I have had readings at 600 and a couple that just say "high".
It is not a laughing matter. I was told years ago when my readings were in the mid 200's to lose weight. Even five pounds would make a difference. Wrong!! Currently, I have lost 25 pounds, and my readings are still in the 500's. What I see, is that doctors use a standard program for treatment, which obviously does not work for everyone. Does not seem possible-- but true and I am lucky to still be alive. But shame on the doctors who know that diabetes is an "individual" disease and do not assert themselves to get to the root of the individual's problems associated with their diabetes; and treat the problem(s) as such per individual. So basically, they blame the patient, and the patient is left at fault to their own fatal outcome.

I recently spent 5 days in a diabetic coma and 5 weeks in the hospital. My blood glucose reading was 1442 at time of admission.
