Some boards have people claiming to have 400 or even 500 readings. I am not sure you would even be alive if they were that high! this is kinda funny, well not really... i recently went into the hospital with a blood sugar of 684.... they obviously kept me and brought me to the i.c.u. for diabetic ketoacidosis... that was with an actual blood test, they did one after the meter read 450 something.... the bad thing is that i felt really crappy, but i've felt much much worse, and i know my sugar has been higher than that, my body has started to get used to my sugars being so high .... when i was younger i had blood tests done for various reasons and obviously my blood sugar level was always one of the tests and ive had readings close to 1000.... so therefor i found that part of the article a lil funny.
