Home Diagnostics glucose meters are currently being sold by Nipro Diagnostics. Nipro aquired Home Diagnostics in 2010. Prior to being sold, Home Diagnostics sold its meters primarily in the United States and Canada.

The company was over 20 years old and was located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Home Diagnostics was the largest supplier of "co-branded" glucose meters in the country. Meaning, it manufactured glucose meters for other companies that then put their brand on the product. The company was focused on providing value at affordable prices.

Nipro Diagnostics continues to manufacter the home diagnostics line of glucose meters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The product family also has remained substantially the same, as of 2012.
