I am sorely disappointed with Animas.

I got the OneTouchPing a week ago. I have read the materials sent with it and gave it a go. I have not had official training on the pump.
However, being that I've read and understood the materials, I thought I would give the pump a trial run before getting official training.
The waterproof feature is nice but not worth the headaches of the remote meter.
I did everything step by step for the setup of the pump and meter communications and no matter what I tried, the darn things would not communicate. The "ezBolus" feature was a joke, as instead of bolusing, it would confirm the amount I wanted to bolus then cut off and go to main menu screen. I won't even go into the redundancy of the high blood glucose and low blood glucose warnings.
I called tech support three times in the last three days. Once on a Saturday and waited on hold 11 minutes before getting to a message center. Same thing today, called, then after hearing their female voice talking about features, and every 2 minutes some male voice with an Australian accent stating how important my call was, thanking me for my patience and someone will answer "momentarily" got a message center again after 11-12 minutes of being on hold. I left my name and number and what my reason for calling was. This was before noon and now it is 5pm my time and guess what? No call back. By three pm, I called for the third and final time and left a message stating my displeasure with Animas.
I am so done. Unless there are drastic changes with the tech support system, I will only have the OneTouchPing as a backup in case my beloved Minimed Pump suffers some unavoidable and unfix-able failure.
