John - Not Completely Happy With OmniPod

I have been using the omnipod for a little over a year now and have had several pod failures 2 of which did not give me any warning or recognize that the pod was not delivering insulin at all! I also had problems with the adhesive coming loose in warmer weather. Customer service is very poor and they give you a hard time when you ask for a replacement pod or have a problem with the device. When a pod fails you also loose all the insulin in it! This is a very expensive problem and the company does not compensate you for this loss. When the omnipod works it is a great unit, but the failure rate in my experience is way too high. I am seriously considering a different pump. This is the first pump I have ever had, I have been a type 1 diabetic for 27 years and went on the pump because daily injections were no longer working for me. I just don't know what pump I would like to replace this one.
