Managed

I've finally got my type II diabetes under control! I had to change my eating habits a bit(eliminated sodas, white bread, and late night snacks), take my metformin "as prescribed" with my meals, and exercise daily (some walking, sit ups, toe touches, etc.)

My average pre-meal blood sugars have been in the range of 80-109mg/dcl for the last couple of weeks, and my two hour post-meal readings have all been under 150mg/dcl. My 7 and 14 day averages according to my meter is 109mg/dcl.

I do find myself feeling hungry a lot, so I keep some peanut butter and my favorite brewed tea and coffee (black) on hand to help cut down on the craving. I've also dropped 3 pant sizes as a result the changes. I know I still have a long way to go, but it's progress.
