MMT-722NAS - Trying to Decide on a New Pump

by Patrick
(Caledonia, NY USA)

I have been wearing this pump for approximately 4 years now. I have had the clip break twice. The tubing has been a constant aggravation for me. I had to change form the 90 degree insertion type to the Silhouette due to failures with the latter.

I am now looking at the Omnipod which will relieve me of the tubing problem. I am however concerned about pod failures and the and the frequency of these occurrences. I started as a type II diabetic, but my Endocrinologist has declared that I am now a type I diabetic.

My blood glucose is up and down more than I like and would like a continuous monitoring system with alarms to warn me when these events are about to happen. My goal is to level out my glucose levels.
