Omnipod changed my life for the better

I have been using the Omnipod insulin pump for 3 years now. Overall, I am highly satisfied with it. There have been a few malfunctions, but not that many and they are replaced timely. I have had no complaints with customer service. Also, as another reviewer stated you should have at least 2 boxes of pods when you re-order (Omnipod tells you this). That way you always have extras. I do carry one extra pod with me at all times as well as insulin syringes. I love that I have no tubing to get clogged or tangled up in or caught on things. I have bumped the pods on my arms once in awhile when I get in a hurry, but not much. The PDM has a built-in blood glucose monitor and the pre-programming of my basal rates and bolus rates gets automatically calculated to adjust to my current blood glucose. I use the feature to cut back on my basal rates with heavy exercise. I do not have any issues with the adhesive while showering, sweating, swimming, etc. My blood sugar levels were like a roller coaster ride on injections. Now they are much steadier and my A1C's have improved. The only time I have a problem is when I change sites: sometimes my blood glucose goes up for a few hours (300 range) and I take an injection at that point. After that, it seems to kick in and works perfectly for the 3 days. My doctor said this is probably due to scar tissue build up. I try to move my sites around as much as possible, but I have been diabetic for 30 years now and used to inject up to 7 x day. That's probably why I have so much scar tissue. At least now I only get "stuck" once every 3 days.
