OmniPod - Pod Malfunctions

I have been using the Omni Pod for just over 2 years now - the only pump I have ever used and have generally like it. However, in the past 1 1/2 months, I have had 8 pod malfunctions. It just stops working for no apparent reason. Has anyone else had this experience? I am considering an alternate pump method.
