Paradigm Pump - Great for a short time

I have had this pump since I was nine I'm 21 now and I like this pump to an extent.
This pump is great for people that have amazing insurance that will pay for most of it however if you don't there are three reasons why you should not get it
It cost a lot of money even after the insurance pays for most of it
Fully expect your pump to break at approximately the year and a half mark
When they send you a pump to replace the broken one it is refurbished and usually breaks right about the time my insurance will cover a new on which is right after the two year mark on your original one

Reasons I've kept this company are
Amazing customer support when it does break they are send you a new one out as you speak with them and it is there the next morning and they are always able to help you no matter what the question is

If you use and change out everything like you are supposed to everything is great quality my tube hardly ever leaks easy to put insulin into

And last the bolus wizard has to be the best part of it all you just pop in the carbs you ate and what your blood sugar is and it does it all for you.

However I was originally on this site to find a new brand of pump the small issues you do have all the time get old quick.
So if I were to give this pump a stare rating it would probably be a three.
