This article scares me cuz right now 3 hours after eating i have a glucose level of 487...a couple of months ago i was feeling like i had the flue so i waited a couple of days finally going to the ER...they took a glucose level 3 times cuz i think they thought something was off, but each time i had a reading of 687..
the nurse said i should be in a coma...so they injected me and also hooked up iv solution, 2 bags later it came down to 368,they also said they have very low potasium reading and gave me a giant pill of potasium...so really, there has to be a higher reading than mine and i am not dead,so i just took another metforman(?)(sp)..so what is the quickest way to lower glucose levels?
