I am sick and tired of the makers of this thing. Both the sensors & infusions have been made by unreliable sources so even pulling up thin white cotton t-shirt, NOT TUCKED IN, pulls out infusion. Reps ask if you are using tagaderm.......WHY DO I PAY MORE TO PROVIDE FOR WHAT THEY FAIL TO MAKE?
Showers, sweat, any wetness and you are toast. 3 in a day, 2 with tagaderm and 10 minute wait to hear rep 'consider' if you are eligable for replacement. Order placed 7-28 not arrived by 8-8-10. Will have to pay for samples to tide me over?
Cut costs to make it, leave cust. serv. reps at cheapest pay and take to the islands with the profit is all that minimed has done in 2010. Be4 that, infusion change made by designers yet not checked by engineers. HUGE RECALL! What would be cheaper, engineer or recall replacement? WHO CARES WE HAVE CASH!
Ready to go back to syringes.
Oh, CGM? 5 minutes here, 2 hrs there, then maybe you'll get a connection and if not, call, then if not put in another $$$$ or replace battery or, by the way, did you unplug the thing 5 minutes before you plugged it into your body and then there is the water proof it is but the infusion isn't and oh, yeah......
Pardon the pun, but between the money hungry makers and some of the 'educated' CLINIC staff, stick with syringes!
