Wish the Cozmo Insulin Pump Would Return

I started with a Disetronic pump, which was great, but was recalled due to a disagreement by the company with the FDA. I changed to the Deltek Cozmo, a great pump by every single one of my standards except two - first, I didn't like the round bottom on it, because I like to stand it on end while it is rewinding as well as some other times, and second, the clamp-on meter was kind of hokey - I would have preferred one using a radio like the Medtronic Paradigm. The Cozmo had the best software on the market (I compared all of them, since I'm a software and computer security professional). I would buy another Cozmo in a minute if they were made again. I keep hoping that some company will buy the technology and start up production again. Hope upon hope.

I changed to the Paradigm only because the Cozmo went off the market. I haven't liked it since day 1, but I'm stuck with it for another couple of years. Given what's on the market right now, I will probably get the Accu-Chek next time, even though their software is markedly worse than the Cozmo - but better than the Medtronic. I need the large reservoir. Except for the reservoir size, I would definitely go with the Animas Ping (only 200 unit reservoir, requiring me to change every 24 hours or possibly less).

Unless the Cozmo were to come back...
