Worried: Have Not Been diagnosed Diabetic, But Higher Blood Glucose

I recently got my CDL and was doing a physical for a company. They did my urinanalysis and said I had high sugar flow over - 3+, no clue what that means really, then they tested me with a glucose meter which came out to 300. Does this mean I am diabetic? I had the same physical a month earlier and my urinanalysis was 0 so I am wondering if you can get diabeties so quickly like that.
EDITOR: Go to your doctor and get a proper test. Home glucose meter testing is not appropriate.
