The Juvenile Diabetes Cure Alliance is a non-profit group that is committed to finding a cure for type 1 diabetes by 2025. One of the ways they advance their goal is through closely monitoring diabetes research institutes and charities to make sure they are staying on the task of finding a diabetes cure.
Each year they rate the top diabetes research institutions and charities in what they call the STAR Review. Well, this years rankings aren’t too good for top charities. Here is a screen shot from the JDCA Review.
Clearly, the JDCA believes that the organizations it reviews have some work to do. If you are curious about how the rankings were compiled and want to learn more, I would encourage you to read the entire 10 page report at thejdca.org.
