Diabetic Walnut “Blond” Brownie Recipe

Another classic brownie recipe, except this version uses walnuts. We are sure you will be pleased with this “Blond” brownie recipe!

Walnut “Blonde” Brownie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Stevia Powder
  • 3 tablespoons Canola Oil
  • pinch Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 cups Whole Grain Flour
  • 1 cup Chopped Walnuts

Directions

Step 1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2. Combine butter, oil, water and stevia powder in a saucepan and melt. Allow to cool completely.
Step 3. Combine Step 1 ingredients with eggs and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Next, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Once batter is mixed well, combine with walnuts.
Step 4. Lightly spray nonstick 9 x 13 inch baking pan with cooking spray. Add mixture to pan.
Step 5. Bake for 25 minutes and allow to cool. Baking time can fluctuate, make sure you do not allow to over bake.

Cut into 20 brownies and serve. Yummy!
