Ingredients
- 4.6oz Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- Fat Free Olive Oil Cooking Spray
- 1 teaspoon Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 4 medium slices Bacon
Directions
Step 1. | Turn Oven Broiler on. |
Step 2. | Let’s season that chicken. Grab a large plate and mix together the oregano, paprika, and pinch of salt & pepper. |
Step 3. | Now, grab a frying pan, preferably a black iron pan, and spray it with the olive oil. Heat the pan over medium high heat. |
Step 4. | Next, have a baking pan ready that is coated with the olive oil spray. If your frying pan can be used in the oven, this is okay to use instead. |
Step 5. | Take each chicken breast and spray it lightly with the olive oil. Lay each breast in the seasoning mix on the plate. Flip each breast to make sure both sides are coated with the seasoning mix. Place each breast in the hot frying pan. |
Step 6. | Pan fry the chicken for approximately 4 – 5 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown. |
Step 7. | Transfer chicken to baking pan. Add the quartered lemons and arrange evenly around pan. |
Step 8. | Add one slice of bacon to the top of each breast. |
Step 9. | Place pan under the broiler for at least 14 minutes. Chicken should be cooked through. |
